TradeStars respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the TradeStars platform (“the Platform”).

References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the TradeStars contributors — the team and contributors behind the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: Your email address or social login credentials, collected and managed by our authentication provider, Privy. Privy may also create an embedded Solana wallet on your behalf. Your authentication credentials are stored by Privy, not directly by TradeStars.
• Wallet information: Solana wallet public addresses used for entry fees and payouts, whether provided by you or generated through Privy.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, trading activity within arenas, and interactions with the Platform.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address.
• Blockchain data: On-chain transaction records related to entry fees and payouts. These are publicly visible on the Solana blockchain.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate and maintain the Platform
• Process entry fees and distribute payouts
• Calculate scores, rankings, and leaderboards
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited conduct
• Communicate with you about your account and the Platform
• Improve and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate the Platform, including Privy (authentication and wallet management), analytics providers, and hosting infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Platform’s governance.

Your Solana wallet address and on-chain transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain by design. Leaderboard rankings and scores may be publicly displayed on the Platform.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and preferences. Specifically, Privy sets session cookies (such as privy-token and privy-session) to keep you logged in. We may also use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used.

You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using the Platform.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict processing of your information
• Data portability

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tradestars.app. Please note: (a) on-chain data cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology, and (b) deletion of authentication data held by Privy may require a separate request, which we will coordinate on your behalf.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate purposes after account deletion.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
